Happy 1st Birthday, Juliana!

My little Jelly turned one year old today. I can't believe it has already been a year. Time really does fly when you have kids.

In Juliana's first year, she has learned to say simple sounds like mama and dada and she has learned to sit up, crawl, walk, and stand up unassisted. She has four teeth, can eat solid foods, is getting long curly hair, can clap her hands, can wave, can point at things, and can feed herself. I'm amazed at how fast she's grown and I can't imagine all the things that she's going to learn in the next year.

Practically everyone in my family took today off for Jelly's birthday, except me. In hindsight, I sort of wish I had requested the day off, but I didn't think everyone would make such a big deal about it on her actual birthday. Her big birthday party will be this Sunday at the in-laws'.
