We went to the Taste of Tacoma a while ago. It wasn't that great. Definitely not as fun as the Bite of Seattle. Doubt I'll ever want to go again.
Bethany's birthday was on the Fourth and the whole family hung out at her parents'. We also celebrated Nick's birthday during that time. Here are some pictures from that:
Bethany and Nick blowing out their birthday candles. More pictures from the birthday celebration here. The picture of Juliana reminded me to let you all know how much she's grown in just the past few weeks. The most exciting news of all is that she has started to crawl. She won't crawl for very long, or very far, but the point is that she has started to do it. She understand the concept. She's also going from a lying down position to a sitting up position by herself really well. She can also stand for a long time while holding onto something and will walk herself around our coffee table sometimes. It's such a joy to watch her learn these new things.
A couple weeks ago, we went to the Kent Cornucopia fair. It was a fairly big event for a smaller city like Kent.
We were all invited to my friend Erica's wedding a couple weekends ago. It took place at the Brown's Point lighthouse. I enjoy outdoor weddings so much more than indoor ones.
And as always, Juliana pictures can be found here.
