Crawling, Walking, and other videos and pictures

I finally got Tawnya's video of Jelly walking uploaded:

That was two weeks ago. Since then, she hasn't really been too fond of walking on her own, but she is almost constantly walking around while supporting herself next to a wall or with the coffee table.

She's also started to climb stairs. This evening, I watched her climb four steps all by herself.

And here is a better video of Jelly crawling than the one I posted last week:

This is also constant with the supported walking now.

And here are a couple videos from Fourth of July weekend that I just got around to uploading:

Last weekend, Bethany, Juliana, and I went to the International District in Seattle to see the Night Market. It wasn't very big, but I don't think very many people know about it yet. There were a handful of food booths and merchants selling stuff. The community center was also there showing how to make Chinese paper lanterns. I guess when it gets dark, they play a movie in Hing Hay Park. However, we did not stay long enough for that. Overall, we had a fun time, but I hope it gets bigger in the future. The event goes on August 9, 16, and 23 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Here are some pictures from the Night Market:

Some of the booths on South King Street.

As you can tell, it rained earlier that day.

Jelly pulling off a silly face because she was so excited.

My girls at the market.

They made a paper lantern together.

Hing Hay Park was getting ready for some live entertainment, as well as the late night movie.

This is where we made paper lanterns.

People playing games in the street.

Yesterday, we went hiking, but I didn't bring my camera. We hiked around Tradition Lake which is near where I went hiking with my dad a couple weekends ago. We recently acquired a baby backpack so that Jelly could be carried on my back. It worked out perfectly. We hiked about 2.5 miles and stopped in the middle for a quick lunch.

I hope you had a good weekend.
