Bethany made a bunch of rings recently and some of them look pretty cool. She put some up on Etsy and had someone buy a few. You can look at them here.
Julie attended Hannah's third birthday party and it was princess themed. Here she is in her purple dress.
Joyce putting a fluffy tiara on the birthday girl's head.
As you can see, the girls wore matching dresses. Coincidence since they have the same Disney playset.
Earlier last week, I got sent to training for my first time at Microsoft. Getting involved in video engineering, so it only makes sense that they send me to an ISF-C certification course. The projector you can see all the way in the back on the right was an 18000 lumens DLP HD projector. The image it displayed was gorgeous.
ISF-C teaches imaging science and display calibration. Everything from types of displays to signals used to settings. The first day was all lectures, but the second day, we got to play around with calibration tools. Apparently this was the biggest group of industry professionals they've had in a long time. There was a guy taking pictures and we might be in a few A/V magazines.
Here are people calibrating flat panel LCD displays. I actually learned quite a bit and did a little bit of networking. After the class, they send you a link to an exam for the class. I passed it earlier this week and have officially been awarded the designation of ISF Commercial Display Calibrator. A valuable thing to have as I know people that we bring in for calibration who charge hundreds of dollars.
This is my Yui-chan. More about her in a post later. However, you can look at pictures of her now and more from the party and training in the full set.
