Foto Friday - 4/20/12

This is my seventy-first Foto Friday post. The pictures today are from Easter, a food cart event, and skiing. Full set with all 28 photos can be viewed here.

Easter was good this year once again with a great ham dinner and Juliana doing an Easter egg hunt in her pretty dress.

The weather we had on the holiday was perfect. At least that's what I think this little guy agreed with.

We had a lot of the typical side items with Easter dinner including these bacon-wrapped asparagus.

I realized that I've never taken a picture of my new favorite Frost doughnut, so here it is. The Cinnamon Sugar French Imperial. It's a French cruller covered with cinnamon and sugar with whip cream in the middle. It's like churros with whip cream. The whip cream is really what makes it fantastic though. I could eat a jar of that stuff every night. If you happened to miss my Favorite Sweet Treats post last week, you should know that I named Frost my #1 favorite.

Last Saturday, we met up with Jason, Molly, and James at the Harley-Davidson in Renton, WA. They had a big anniversary event and invited a bunch of popular food trucks from around the Seattle area.

We ate. And ate. And ate. We tried wood-fired pizza, Caribbean beef patties, Kalua pork quesadilla, angus beef sliders, chicken and potato curry, and create-your-own ice cream sandwiches. It was a bad diet day.

I recognized a few of the food trucks from work because there are a bunch over at Redwest as they remodel the cafeteria. Glad I got to try them.

My dad and I took Juliana up for her fifth time skiing this season. This was a milestone because it was the first time we took her up on the big lifts. We had been staying on the bunny hill, but she seems to have that down. Here she is with my father after her first big chairlift ride.

Here is Juliana at the highest elevation she's ever been on land. Probably around 6,500 feet at the top of the Forest Queen Express chair.

It was a gorgeous day for skiing. Lots of sun, packed snow, and short lines.

Here's a little video of a run we took where I went through the trees before joining back up with Juliana and my dad.

If Coral decides to come out on our scheduled due date, then I will be the father of two kids by next Foto Friday. Really weird to think about it like that since it feels like I'm doing these often. Be sure to check here often for when the big day comes. In the meantime, here is a picture of Juliana hugging Bethany's preggers tummy in front of Coral's crib.
