Juliana's Birthday Pictures

As I mentioned last week, Thursday was Jelly's first birthday. On that day, Bethany, Tawnya, and Jelly came to pick me up from work and we went to Bellevue Square. At the mall, we went into Build-A-Bear to make Juliana her own custom teddy bear.

I don't know why Jelly has an angry face, but I promise you she actually had a really good time. This is her picking out the type of bear she wants.

Getting the bear stuffed. I think Bethany enjoyed the whole experience more than Juliana did.

Julie testing out the softness of the bear by giving it a hug.

We put three hearts into the bear. One from daddy, one from mommy, and one from Jelly.

In the dressing room for the bear, we picked out the Princess Aurora dress from Sleeping Beauty. See, Jelly is having fun.

All done! That was fun. We named her Princess Bear.

Afterwards, we went to Pagliacci for dinner.

Jelly still does her sideways look of interest.

Here she is carrying her Princess Bear around the house.

On Saturday morning, we went to a breakfast place in Sumner where Jelly had Mickey Mouse pancakes.

Giant baby will attack you if you try to eat her pancakes.

After breakfast, we went over to Tawn-Tawn's house to open the birthday present she had got her.

Honestly, Juliana would be more happy with just a remote control.

Yay, it's a cool toy that blows balls up in the air. Julie was scared of it at first, but she eventually warmed up to it.

On Sunday, everyone went to the in-laws' for her birthday party. She wore a tiara that said she was one, a pink tutu, and ballerina slippers.

"I'm this many!"

Lots of princess goodies. Check out the Disney Princess pinata in the back.

Bethany made these awesome decorations on these sugar cookies.

And Juliana's birthday cake which was shaped like a giant cupcake was baked by Beth.

Another activity for the little ones was making personalized tiaras.

All the kids in their tiaras. Poor Jaden was the only boy.

Blowing out the birthday candle.

Juliana did not want to eat her cupcake.

Opening presents. The rocking giraffe is what we got for Jelly.

And here is a little video I put together using a bunch of footage I took over her birthday weekend. Sorry for the crappy quality. The videos came from my digital camera which isn't the best way to take video.

You can view a lot more pictures from the party here.
