Your John Wayne Dreamyness

Got three new songs that I've been listening to a lot.

#3 Keys N Krates - "Dreamyness"

Keys N Krates have come out with a new free EP, which you can download here. I've placed them on top 3 songs lists before as they are a great group that does hip hop music and remixes. Most of their stuff is just beats with vocal samples scattered throughout, but they are so good that you'll be bumpin' your head in no time. "Dreamyness" would probably be considered the single of their new album, and it's one of their best songs yet. Listen and bump.

#2 Little Green Cars - "The John Wayne"

Been going through some more of BBC's Sound of 2013 picks and Little Green Cars was one of the runners-up. Looked up some of their songs and "The John Wayne" caught my attention the most. Their sound kind of reminds me of Freelance Whales, but a bit more mainstream. Maybe with a mix of The Naked and Famous in there, too. I'm looking forward to seeing what else they come out with this year. Careful, you might get this one stuck in your head.

#1 AlunaGeorge - "Your Drums, Your Love"

AlunaGeorge is a duo from London, consisting of Aluna Francis (vocals) and George Reid (production). They placed second on BBC's Sound of 2013 (see a trend?) and their single out right now is "Your Drums, Your Love." It's gotten enough attention on the airwaves lately, especially over in the UK. Their debut album coming out in June 2013 will be titled Body Music. I can tell you that I like this because I still love catchy vocals over electronica music. And the music in this song is great. I could listen to just the beginning over and over again.
