Got three new songs that I've been listening to a lot.
#3 Black Light Dinner Party - "We Are Golden"
This is my second time in a row featuring a Black Light Dinner Party song. This album just gets more and more impressive every time I listen to it. "We Are Golden" is their most pop-sounding song on Sons and Lovers. The music video is also fun. A testament to this song's catchy chorus, Julie already knows the words.
#2 Jay Rock feat. Kendrick Lamar - "Hood Gone Love It"
If you have no appreciation for hip hop/rap, then skip this one completely. "Hood Gone Love It" is one of my jams when I'm playing GTA V. The Jay Rock song plays on their Radio Los Santos station and there's just nothing quite like driving a low rider through the hood while blasting this song in the game. It also features some rhymes from Kendrick Lamar, who doesn't have the pleasure of rapping about making smart financial transactions this time.
#1 Tony Castles - "Hearts in the Pipes (Kauf Remix)"
Now, while I'm talking about my jams on GTA V, this is my #1 fave. Neo-80s electronica remix of a sort of psychedelic folky song. I mostly leave my radio tuned to Radio Mirror Park just to hear this song come on. It's incredible. A must-listen.
