#10 The Walk - The Walk tells the story of French high-wire artist Philippe Petit's attempt to cross the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974. You may remember the 2008 documentary Man on Wire, which featured Petit's story and went on to win many awards, including the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. The Walk is directed by Robert Zemeckis, the man behind such classics as Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Petit alongside actors Ben Kingsley and Charlotte Le Bon.

#9 Pan - Pan was a screenplay that made the 2013 Black List. When director Joe Wright was attached to it, I was intrigued. Pan is an origin story for J.M. Barrie's mischievous character who never grows up. Peter is an orphan, Hook is a hunky explorer who helps him, and Tiger Lily is... white? *shrugs shoulders* No matter, because I trust Wright with the material and know that this will at least be somewhat entertaining.

#8 Tomorrowland - Tomorrowland is a movie based on the themed area of Disneyland Park. Hey, be quiet. They laughed about a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, too. Anyway, Tomorrowland has a lot of the right things going for it. For one, it is co-written by Damon Lindelof, one of the producers of Lost and the rebooted Star Trek films. Second, it is co-written and directed by Brad Bird, the man behind The Iron Giant, Pixar's The Incredibles, and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. And third, Hugh Laurie, Michael Giacchino, Claudio Miranda, Walter Murch, Scott Chambliss... geez, this has everything in the recipe to be great.

#7 Inside Out - I'm not sure how to feel about Pixar's next film. I know that it will most likely be super entertaining, just like their other work. However, I'm worried that my daughters are going to start thinking that there are little emotions in their head deciding on how they should feel after they see the movie. I'm kidding, of course, but this does look like another instant classic for Disney and Pixar.

#6 Joy - David O. Russell has made some pretty satisfying movies over the last decade, so Joy is high up on my list. Joy will be a drama about the American inventor and entrepreneur Joy Mangano, who started out as a struggling mother of three children. However, she went on to invent the Miracle Mop, Huggable Hangers, Forever Fragrant, and so many other things you see in infomercials and HSN. Joy will be played by Jennifer Lawrence who will be collaborating with O. Russell for the third time.

Trailer: Not yet released, but here is a photo of the three main stars discovering their hands for the first time.
#5 Kingsman: The Secret Service - This is shaping up to be my guilty pleasure of 2015. Everything about this movie looks so fun. This movie is loosely based on a 6-issue 2012 spy comic book series by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. It's about a young man who is living the life of a thug when a man bails him out and lets him in on his very hush-hush job of working as a secret agent. What's so great about it is that Academy Award-winner Colin Firth plays the secret agent recruiting the young man and dresses like a proper English gentleman. Yet his fighting technique and skills are aggressive. The Matthew Vaughn-directed (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class) movie also stars Michael Caine, Mark Strong, and Samuel L. Jackson. Oh, and did I mention a woman who has swords for feet?

#4 St. James Place - "St. James Place" is the working title for right now, so this might be called something else later. What you need to know is that it is a Cold War spy thriller starring Tom Hanks, written by the Coen Brothers, and directed by Stephen Spielberg. Enough said, right?
Release date: October 16, 2015
Trailer: Not yet released, but here's a photo.
#3 The Hateful Eight - I believe that Quentin Tarantino movies are best when there are lots of characters involved in the story. The Hateful Eight takes place in post-Civil War Wyoming, where some bounty hunters try to find shelter during a blizzard, but get involved in a plot of betrayal and deception. The movie stars Tarantino regulars like Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, and Michael Madsen, but also includes Channing Tatum, Kurt Russell, and Bruce Dern.
Release date: November 13, 2015
Trailer: Not yet released, but there's a colorful poster.
#2 The Revenant - American frontiersman Hugh Glass' story is so insane. He makes Aron Ralston's experience from 127 Hours look like a cakewalk. The Revenant features the explorer's unbelievable story of being mauled by a bear and the vengeance he takes on the people who left him for dead. Leonardo DiCaprio will play Hugh Glass with Tom Hardy as John Fitzgerald and Will Poulter as Jim Bridger. Best of all, Alejandro González Iñárritu is directing the movie fresh off the heels of Birdman.

#1 - Alvin and the Chipmunks 4 - Sike!
#1 Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens - How can you not list this movie as #1 most anticipated? New Star Wars, people!! Not only that, but George Lucas has nothing to do with it! He's not writing, not directing, not even producing! He has wiped his hands clean of it and now the reins are in the trustworthy hands of J.J. Abrams. We've got original cast returning, a new John Williams score, and a whole slew of great new faces to the galaxy far, far away, like Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong'o, and John Boyega. Count me in!
