We couldn't just leave Santa Barbara without seeing some of the city. On Sunday, we checked out of our hotel and walked near the beach. There were a bunch of artist merchants selling stuff along the sidewalk.
We walked out on Stearns Wharf, which has a bunch of restaurants and shops on it. Cars can drive out on it, too. I think it's the biggest tourist attraction in S.B.
My dad and Julie walking on Stearns Wharf. Juliana loves to walk and balance on curbs now. Whenever she gets the chance, she does it.
Lots of people fishing off the wharf. Reminded me of Redondo Beach in Federal Way/Des Moines a little.
Look back towards the beach and you are awarded with a beautiful view.
We left to drive back to San Diego after our walk and ate at In-N-Out again for the second day in a row. Ugh... I love it. I could eat it multiple times per week.
Stopped at a viewpoint along I-5 to stretch our legs and stare at the wondrous Pacific Ocean.
Back at my grandma's, Julie picked tomatoes with my aunt Karen. There were a lot of ripe ones to pick!
Juliana holding a thick zucchini from the garden. She liked helping her great-aunt Karen picking vegetables.
That was the end of our last full day in California. I do have some pictures from the last day, which will be posted soon. You can see all of the pictures I've posted from days 1-7 in the full set.
